SPONSOR GUIDELINES AND BENEFITS

Sponsor Benefits: As approved by the Executive Committee,sponsors may:
- Attend open Council meetings and conferences
- Meet with the Executive Committee at the Annual Meeting
- Develop joint initiatives with AOPO, through the Executive Office (the scale of which will vary by sponsorship level)
- Receive publicity through meetings, publications and the website
- Receive special updates of events of note (e.g., legislative or regulatory updates; upcoming Council meeting; other calendar items of interest)
- Place up to four non-advertising announcements and notices (subject to AOPO review) in the electronic Update or on our website at no charge
- Up to 3 staff members may have access to one AOPO Portal site
- Receive recognition in AOPO electronic ED Update and on our website
Plus:
Platinum ($20,000)
- Complimentary Registration for 2 participants at AOPO Annual Meeting
- 10% discount on Exhibit Fee at AOPO Annual Meeting
- Preferred Exhibit placement at AOPO Annual Meeting
Gold ($15,000)
- Complimentary Registration for 1 participant at AOPO Annual Meeting
- 5% discount on Exhibit Fee at AOPO Annual Meeting
- Special exhibit placement at AOPO Annual Meeting
Silver ($10,000)
- Complimentary Registration for 1 participant at AOPO Annual Meeting
- Complimentary issues of AOPO Update newsletter
Bronze ($5,000)
- 50% registration fee discount for 1 participant at the AOPO Annual Meeting
- complimentary issues of AOPO Update newsletter
Sponsor Restrictions:
- Sponsors may not chair nor be a member of any standing committee, or other committee or workgroup charged with association governance matters.
- Sponsors may not attend nor otherwise participate in the Executive Sessions or Business Meetings of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, or other AOPO Committees, Councils, Work Groups, Task Forces, etc., unless specific approval is given by the Executive Committee.
- Sponsors may not attend the January Directors’ Workshop.
Guidelines For Publicizing AOPO Sponsor Status:
AOPO Sponsors will not:
- state, imply, or infer, membership in AOPO.
- state, imply, infer that AOPO approves or endorses their products, activities, etc.
- use the AOPO logo
Approved language suggestion:
- “ABC Co., Inc., is a Sponsor of the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO).” This may appear in such places as web site, brochures, letterhead.
- If sponsorship is discontinued by either the sponsor or by AOPO, entity must immediately cease use of this language by reprinting, covering, deleting, etc.
