Jeffery Orlowski of Oklahoma Receives Award from AOPO

generously sponsored by the Nathan Sallop Insurance Agency. This national award is presented to an individual who demonstrates leadership through outstanding achievements in the organ procurement field. Orlowski was presented with this award at AOPO’s 31st Annual Meeting.

In front of a crowd of more than 800 meeting attendees in Baltimore, Elling Eidbo, Executive Director of AOPO, announced that “with nearly three decades of experience in the field, Orlowski exudes the passion for our shared vision of ending deaths on the wait list, and works tirelessly towards that end at his OPO, as well as on various AOPO, UNOS, and other national committees.”

Orlowski has held multiple roles within organ procurement organizations, has served on both committees and the board of the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), and continues to be active within many organ procurement and transplantation organizations including AOPO, NATCO, the Organization for Transplant Professionals, and Donate Life America. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of LifeShare Transplant Donor Services of Oklahoma. Mr. Orlowski was the 2010-2011 President of AOPO, and the 2011-2012 Immediate Past-President.
