Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) Data

DSA Dashboard – Comprehensive Data – The National DSA Dashboard is a tool that combines donation and transplant data in one place.  The majority of the Dashboard is updated quarterly (March, June, September, and December).  The SRTR data that is included is updated when the data becomes available on the SRTR public website (July and January).

National, DSA and regional donation data included: Donors (All, DCD, ECD, SCD); Percent DCD, ECD, SCD; Organs Recovered by Organ and Donor Type; Organs Transplanted by Organ and Donor Type; OTPD by Donor Type; Eligible Deaths; Eligible Death Consent Rate; Eligible Death Conversion Rate; Collaborative Conversion Rate; Import/Export Data by Organ; and Donation Data by Donor Hospital.

Transplant data:  SRTR Actual v Expected Survival Rates; SRTR Actual v Expected Transplant Rates; SRTR Mortality Rates After Listing; Waitlist Data by Adult v Pediatrics, Organ and Urgency Status; and Adult and Pediatric Transplant Numbers by Organ.

YTD Donor Update – This is a monthly Collaborative report.  This report analyzes year-to-date progress towards the Collaborative goals and compares them to the same time period in the previous year.  The report is by DSA and by region and includes national totals.  Some of the data included are: Donors (All, SCD, DCD, ECD); Organs Recovered and Transplanted (All, SCD, DCD, ECD, and organ specific); Conversion Rates; Organs Transplanted per Donor (All, SCD, DCD, ECD) vs Collaborative Goals (SCD=4.3, DCD=2.75, ECD=2.5); and Percent DCD.

Most Recent 12 Month Donor Update – A monthly Collaborative report.  This report analyzes the most recent 12 month’s progress towards the Collaborative goals and compares them to the previous 12 month time period.  The report is by DSA and by region and includes national totals.  Some of the data included are:Donors (All, SCD, DCD, ECD); Organs Recovered and Transplanted (All, SCD, DCD, ECD, and organ specific); Conversion Rates; Organs Transplanted per Donor (All, SCD, DCD, ECD) vs Collaborative Goals (SCD=4.3, DCD=2.75, ECD=2.5);  and Percent DCD.

Six Plus Data – A monthly Collaborative report that includes progress towards the Collaborative goals for any hospital that has reported at least 6 eligible deaths in the most recent 12 month time period.  The report also includes national, DSA and regional data based on ONLY those hospitals with 6 eligible deaths.

Regional YTD Slides – An Excel spreadsheet that can be used to copy and paste into a PowerPoint presentation for individual regions.  There are 4 “slides” per region for year-to-date data and 4 “slides” per region for the most recent 12 month time period data.

Reported Eligible Deaths and Recovered Deceased Donors 2008 to 2016 – This is a quarterly report that provides data back to 2008 on eligible Deaths, Approached Eligible Deaths, Consent Rate, Consent Rate of Approached Eligible Deaths, Total Donors Recovered, and Eligible Donors Recovered. Data is by Ethnic group, Year, and Organ Procurement Organization.

 

Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR) Data

 

OPTN/SRTR Annual Report for 2015 includes analysis of transplant data, explanation of analysis methods frequently raised by physicians, patients, policy makers and administrators, trends in waitlist patient counts, analysis of transplants by organ, including patient outcome predictors and more. (Note that this is a large file, 25 GB, and may take a while to download, depending on connection speed.)
