North Liberty, Iowa – The Iowa Quality Center (IQC), administrator of the Iowa Recognition for Performance Excellence (IRPE), has announced that Iowa Donor Network has achieved the Silver Award for their leadership and management practices. Iowa Donor Network started the IRPE process four years ago and had previously been awarded Site Visit and Bronze Awards. “We’re very honored to have achieved the Silver Award this year. It validates our commitment to having the best work systems and processes in place to fulfill our mission,” says Jennifer Houtman, Quality Manager and IRPE Team Lead for Iowa Donor Network.
Each year the IQC and the IRPE board of directors distinguish role model organizations in education, manufacturing, nonprofit, healthcare and business.
Gary Nesteby, Executive Director of the IQC, said the Iowa Recognition for Performance Excellence honors organizations that complete a rigorous organizational assessment leading to sustainability and maintaining a future focus on performance excellence. “The Baldrige framework, used in 32 state programs, is globally recognized as the most rigorous framework in the world,” said Nesteby. “We’re very proud to honor these worthy award recipients.”
The Iowa Quality Center (IQC), an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been the administrator of the Iowa Recognition for Performance Excellence (Baldrige-based state award program) since 2001, with a mission of providing leadership for performance excellence by connecting individuals, organizations and communities throughout Iowa.
