Transition in Leadership at TransLife

Beth Fetter has announced her retirement as Executive Director at TransLife.

Beth has served Florida Hospital for over 3 decades in various capacities within Translife. Her extensive knowledge of organ donation and the relationships she has built within our community will not be forgotten. We wish her well as she begins a new journey and travels the world.

David DeStefano has accepted the Executive Director position at TransLife.

In this role, Dave will have responsibility for the overall operations, financial and program activities for the Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) and Tissue Bank. He will work collaboratively with our Transplant Institute and hospitals across 10 counties to ensure quality outcomes and compliance with all standards and regulations from UNOS, OPTN and other regulatory agencies.

Dave brings a wealth of operational leadership to Florida Hospital. For nearly 20 years, he has dedicated his career to organ and tissue donation. Most recently, he was lead the operations of an OPO in San Diego. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from St. Lawrence University and his Master of Business Administration from The College of William & Mary.
