I did not know my son had agreed to be a donor until the day he died.
After Austin passed away, we found several notebooks of his thoughts and writings. One of these notebooks contained a bucket list which included, "Save a life at risk to my own." My beautiful boy, you saved many lives! You live on through so many who have continued to make a difference in this world.
