My son Cody died in an instant in an accident 12yrs ago. He was 30yrs old. Of course we were devastated but when they talked to us about donation we knew that’s what he wanted and said yes. He was able to donate his cornea’s, bone and tissue. I was blessed to spend an afternoon with one of his cornea recipients and look into her eyes and know that a part of my son was with her. She was so very thankful, loving and caring for Cody and us, his family. God has healed my broken heart and although I grieve for Cody everyday .. and will forever.. God has also brought joy and laughter back into my life. My son is my hero!!
