When Mark passed away suddenly last year, one thing that didn't catch me off guard was his choice to be a donor. Mark's generosity and compassion for others were some of his finest qualities. He took great joy in helping others, and he would often set his own work aside in order to lend someone else a hand. He was the most giving person I have ever known.

Mark lived each and every day to the fullest. He whistled as he was getting ready in the morning. He faced each day with an expectation that good things were going to happen. If you asked him how his day was going, he would inevitably answer "UNBELIEVEABLE".

He didn't take life for granted which is why being a donor was so important to him. His desire to help someone even after he was gone speaks to the kindness and generosity he showed during his lifetime.

Mark, your life has been a blessing to so many. There's no doubt you've been the biggest blessing of my life.
