Cincinnati, OH, July 1st, 2016 –

LifeCenter Organ Donor Network and Lifeline of Ohio are pleased to announce the formation of Network For Life. Network For Life supports the life-saving missions of LifeCenter and Lifeline of Ohio through strategic partnerships that enable each organization to set the standard of excellence in the OPO community.

Currently, LifeCenter and Lifeline of Ohio share the financial and information technology functions. These functions will be transferred to Network For Life, as a supporting organization. Additionally, the business model will leverage the efficiencies in the areas of health insurance, employee benefits, payroll, and shared software resources that will be managed through Network For Life.

A separate Board has been established consisting of an equal number of Board Members from both OPOs. Kent Holloway, CEO of Lifeline of Ohio, and Barry Massa, Executive Director of LifeCenter, serve as Co-Presidents of Network For Life. Leadership from both OPOs will continue sharing best practices for further cost-savings and continual improvement in other areas of operations that can be managed through Network For Life. This does not impact either OPO’s distinct Medicare Provider Number, Governance Board, or Medical Advisory Board. Rather, Network For Life offers the opportunity to continue to share in in organizational efficiencies that is normally reserved for larger OPO’s and organizations.
